4 Days MS Nubian Sea Lake Nasser Cruise

You will be served breakfast on board, then set sail early to Kasr Ibrim. From the sun deck, enjoy beautiful views of the Citadel of Kasr Ibrim, which now resembles an island due to the Aswan High Dam. After this, lunch will be served on board.

Next, visit the Temple of Amada, built originally by Pharaoh Thutmose III and enlarged by his successors. Proceed to the MS Nubian Sea itinerary, followed by the Temple of Derr, an important representation of the rock-cut architectural style of Ramses II, and then to the Tomb of Pennut, a remarkable rock-cut tomb that was relocated for protection from flooding that would have occurred due to the dam.

Upon completion of your tours, return to the cruise for a cocktail party complemented by a Nubian performance on board. Dinner on board and night stay.

Breakfast on board the cruise is followed by a very early excursion to Wadi El Seboua. The Wadi El Seboua area is famous for its collection of relocated ancient monuments. Two temples of the "New Kingdom" share space here with the Temple of Dakka and the Temple of Maharraqua. Many visitors spend a whole day here to inspect these interesting sites, starting at the famous "Valley of the Lions," an avenue flanked by sphinxes that leads toward the older temple built by Amenhotep III, dedicated to a Nubian expression of Horus. Then, you may enjoy the Lake Nasser cruise, a great way to unwind while enjoying the breathtaking scenery around you. There is even an option of a Nubian Sea Nile cruise for the guests to get a different perspective of the historical and natural wonders of the area, and this is making its way into the explorations of the rest of the day.

After the tour, return to the cruise for lunch and continue to Aswan. Dinner and overnight stay on board in Aswan.

Onboard, breakfast will be served for you during the cruise. Afterward, you will be accompanied by your Egyptologist to the Temple of Kalabsha. The MS Nubian Sea Lake Nasser cruise itinerary includes a visit to this temple, located close to the High Dam, and it is usually the first destination of cruises on Lake Nasser. Originally located 30 miles south, it was moved due to the creation of the dam. The temple, built at the end of the Ptolemaic dynasty and completed under the reign of Roman emperor Augustus, combines both Egyptian and Roman artistic features, with images of Roman emperors and pharaohs worshipping Egyptian gods. It's dedicated to the Nubian god Mandulis.

After this visit, you will disembark from your cruise, and our representative will assist you in transferring to your hotel accommodation in Aswan.
