6 Days in Cairo, Luxor, and the Red Sea

Breakfast at your hotel in Cairo. Afterward, you would meet with our English-speaking Egyptologist tour guide and proceed for a day tour to the Pyramids of Giza; the three most important ones Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, with the majestic stone Sphinx guarding their pearl. This is one of Cairo's sightseeing highlights and promises to be one of the most unforgettable experiences in travel through the ancient wonders of Egypt.

Lunch will be served in a local restaurant following that.

Visit the city of Sakkara. You can view the Step Pyramid of King Djoser. It has a very interesting tale to tell. King Djoser commissioned it and ordered its construction designed by the chief architect Int-hor, who believed in a burial like no other. The Step Pyramid proved a marvel and wonder to the king.

Your excursion will then continue to The Egyptian Museum which is known as one of the grand museums of the entire world and collects everything regarding Pharaoh's artifacts, including those owned by the famous, fabulous King Tutankhamun. You also have the opportunity to visit the Mummies' Room, an utterly fascinating chance to lay your eyes on the actual remains of ancient pharaohs.

For today's program, you will check out of your hotel in Cairo after breakfast and later be transferred to the airport to catch your flight to Luxor.

Upon landing at Luxor Airport, a personally selected private tour guide will be waiting for you to embark on your day tour around Luxor. The whole adventure starts from the magical ground of Thebes. Travel attractions will be around the West Bank of Luxor, primarily at the Valley of the Kings which is the royal ancient Egyptian burial site for Theban kings and rulers; pharaohs have always found their rest in this sacred ground. The above are some of the selected top Luxor attractions offering a close connection to the ancient history of Egypt.

Next stop: Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari, honored as one of the most astonishing examples of ancient Egyptian architecture since it is carved completely into the mountainside. Also, you will visit the Colossi of Memnon, belonging to King Amenhotep III.

Lunch at a local restaurant will be served.

The next venue for today will be a discovery of the East Bank of Luxor by then. Now prepare yourself to see the magnificent Karnak Temple Complex, which is known to be the largest in the world, covering an area of one hundred acres. Your lovely tour will end with the Temple of Luxor, first built by one of the kings of the 12th dynasty and later completed by the famous King Ramses II. You will be overnighted into your hotel in Luxor checking in after this exploration day.

After breakfast, you will check out of your hotel and travel straight to the resort area of Hurghada in an air-conditioned vehicle and then check into your hotel. The rest of the day will be free for you to enjoy and overnight in Hurghada.

Today is another day of relaxation: you can take a stroll in the city, shop, or sit on the lovely beach of the Red Sea. Tonight you will be spending at your hotel in Hurghada.

This is the last day of your tour cutting across Cairo, Luxor, and Hurghada. Start off the day with a nice breakfast in your hotel, and get ready for that moment that you've probably been looking forward to and dreading all at the same time. Our tour representative with a driver will come to pick you up from the hotel to take you to the airport for your flight from Hurghada to Cairo and then as part of your departure from Egypt.

They'll also help with your baggage and checking in, leading to that bittersweet farewell.
