The next day begins early with breakfast at the hotel, followed by check-out to meet our English-speaking Egyptologist tour guide for your first day of excursion. The first destination is the Pyramids of Giza, which include the pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure; and overshadowed by the graceful limestone statue of the Sphinx, sentinel over the site. This is just one of the top sites in Cairo that you will explore during your journey.

Then you will enjoy lunch at the local restaurant. After that, you carry on to the city of Sakkara, where you will visit the Step Pyramid of King Djoser. His chief architect, Imhotep, was tasked by King Djoser with constructing a burial place unlike any other. The result was the Step Pyramid, which amazed the king and was thought of as nothing less than a marvel during its time.

In the evening, transfer to Giza railway station for the sleeper train to Aswan, where you will enjoy dinner. Stay overnight in your compartment.

After breakfast on the train, a very warm representative of Osha Tours will meet you at the Aswan train station. After that, you'll join a private air-conditioned vehicle to transfer you to your Nile Cruise ship for embarkation in Aswan before lunch. The breakfast will be offered during the Nile cruise, and on the journey to Thebes, the revered land, you will follow through the dense banks of Luxor, starting with the Valley of the Kings. This site is recognized as the royal burial ground for the Theban kings and rulers of ancient Egypt, where they interred our Pharaohs.

You will visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut located at Deir El-Bahari subsequently. This temple is known as one of the most exceptional ancient walls-beholders of Egyptian architecture since it has been hewn out from the mountainside. Then the tour will lead you to the Colossi of Memnon, associated with King Amenhotep III. Here is the endpoint of that visit, after which you will proceed for lunch on your cruise.

You will then continue your investigation of the East Bank of Luxor, including its magnificent Karnak Temple Complex, identified as the biggest temple complex in the world, spanning over an area of one hundred acres.

This amazing journey will close at the same moment as the Luxor Temple, built by one of the kings of the 12th dynasty and completed by the great King Ramses II. Spend a day on your own enjoying a free day in Sharm or join our optional tour to Ras Mohammed National Park, a unique reserve of land and sea. Encompassing an area of 480 sq. km, this protected area abuts the Gulf of Suez from one side and the Gulf of Aqaba from the other, lying further south in Sinai. The landscape is characterized by an arid desert with dunes, plains of gravel, fossilized corals, and granite mountains, which host several of the very rare mammal species, including the Dorcas gazelle, Nubian ibex, and red fox. More commonly observed are the resident bird species such as terns, herons, gulls, and ospreys. Each year, thousands of white storks migrate through Ras Mohammed, traveling south in September and October, and returning north in April and May. The park also includes some 85 species of flora, including mangroves. The overnight stay will be in Sharm.
