7 Days Cairo and Sharm El Sheikh | Egypt Tour Packages

The day will begin with a scrumptious buffet breakfast in the main restaurant of the hotel in Cairo after which the Egypt Tours Packages will start. A representative from Osha Tours in the person of a certified tour guide will meet us and we will start a tour of the Great Pyramids in Giza. Our journey begins with the pyramid of King Cheops, the largest of all the Egyptian pyramids said to have been constructed with the assistance of 100,000 laborers, according to archaeologists and historians.

After this, we will appreciate the magnificent pyramid of King Chephren, which was erected nearly 20 years after the Great Pyramids and consists of millions of limestone blocks, built by Cheops’ son and heir who belonged to the 4th dynasty Pharaohs, together with the smaller pyramid of Mycerinus. The guide will explain how the ancient people built the squares and what materials were used.

From the high Giza plateau, we will have a panoramic view of the whole necropolis, and for the keen ones, there will be an option of riding camels (optional activity) and taking some great pictures around the Giza Pyramids with the help of a Bedouin.

Next, we will go down to the Sphinx, a lion-bodied figure with a king’s head representing the lawkeeper of the pyramids that are located behind it. The Sphinx’s oldest name is Shepsep-Ankh the living statue of a god, whence it is believed that the Greeks got their name for the Sphinx from.

We shall also make a trip to the Valley Temple of Chephren, an impressive temple that the pharaoh erected in the mummification complex of the second pyramid for the preservation of the pharaoh’s body, which is the only valley temple still present in Giza.

On our excursions in Egypt, we will sightsee the Giza pyramids from the ideal vantage point and take a number of beautiful photographs. Furthermore, if you are keen, it is possible to go to the solar boat museum, however, you will have to buy an extra ticket at the entrance. After this, we will recess for an appetizing lunch in one of the local restaurants before making our way to Saqqara plateau.

Moving on to the Saqqara plateau, we will get acquainted with the Step Pyramid Complex, its Old Kingdom Nobility burial chapels, and the remarkable paintings that illustrate the everyday life of the ancients. In the end, we can explore either the tomb of King Teti or the Unas pyramids.

The last place we go to today will be Memphis City which was the capital of Egypt for almost 1000 years during the age of pyramid construction. This city is believed to be the most important center for culture and religion within the Egyptian dominion for the three millennia of its history. There we will stop first at the Museum of Memphis, in order to admire the more recent monuments, such as the alabaster sphinx and the statue of Ramses the Second.

After such a captivating day spent in satiation of our appetite for knowledge, we will be dropped off at the hotel.

They will meet us at the reception area and we will be introduced to one of the most tremendous, if not the greatest, museums in the world, as the Egyptian Museum follows closely. To start with, we will indulge in a sumptuous breakfast at the hotel in Cairo prior to the Egyptian Museum, and get captivated by the display of ancient Egyptian artifacts, even seeing the famous golden mask of King Tut.

After we have looked around the museum, we will make headway to the Citadel of Saladin, an ancient structure that was commissioned in the twelfth dynasty in order to protect the city of Cairo. In which, we will also see the astonishing Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali Basha which was built by the Albanian viceroy of Egypt in the 17th century. Later we turn towards enjoying more sights as well, and this time it would be Islamic Cairo with beautiful mosques, amazing minarets, and enticing domes.

Of course, we will also eat a delicious lunch in a decent restaurant before going on our excursion to Coptic Cairo. In this area, we will see the remains of a fortress built by the Romans, called Fortress of Babylon, the famous Hanging Church, Abu Serga church, as well as the great Ben Ezra Synagogue – one of the oldest synagogues in Egypt and the Middle East.

Later in the evening, we will head to another part of Islamic Cairo to enjoy a medieval atmosphere of open bazaars at Khan El Khalili. After which, our driver shall return us to your hotel for another overnight stay in Cairo.

As usual, we will have breakfast at the hotel. After this, we will check out and prepare for a transfer to Cairo International Airport for our Egypt Tour Packages. A flight will then be taken from Cairo bound for Sharm El Sheikh. At the Sharm El Sheikh airport, a representative of the Osha Tours will welcome us and ensure that we are driven to the hotel where we can relax for the day with some free time in the afternoon and evening.

We shall spend the night in a hotel in Sharm.

This day seems to be so much busy! After 2:00 PM you will get any communication from your tour guide if any and instantly be ferried to the Quad Bike Centre which is about 15 minutes drive towards the city. Upon arrival, you will be given some safety instructions and shown how to operate the vehicles before plunging into Quad Bike adventure in Sharm, as part of our Egypt Trips Packages program. A quad bike would be ridden through the beautiful Sinai desert while enjoying the view.

After approximately one hour of riding, you will rest at an elevation with enclosures and be served traditional Bedouin tea. After this, ride your bike back to the Quad Bike Centre and you will be driven back to your hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle. You may spend the rest of the time in the evening whichever way you want.

Overnight at a Hotel in Sharm.

As soon they get back to the hotel, a daily buffet breakfast will be enjoyed. At about 8:00 am, you will be transferred inside a hotel van to the sea dock for a boat ride to Ras Mohamed National Park. Primary among the attractions of this area would be the sub-water world of the Red Sea, which has more than 130 species of corals and a thousand types of fish.

The boat will make three stops in the Red Sea, where swimmers will be able to snorkel, and there will be lunch provided midday during the tour. Later in the day, the boat will arrive at the beach, and you will return to the hotel right away.
