Tour Itinerary

We encourage you to meet up with our guide in the hotel lobby to start the St. Catherine’s Monastery Tours from Sharm El Sheikh, a trip considered one of the best to take in a day in Egypt. As part of our Sharm El Sheikh day trips, at around 10:00 PM, a modern and well-maintained air-conditioned vehicle will transfer you to Mount Sinai and St. Catherine’s Monastery, Tour Centre. Then at 2 AM, upon arrival at Moses Mountain, you will start climbing it only to reach the peak and enjoy the sunrise.

As Biblical records depict, even God talked to Moses as one would greet a friend. After your descent from the mountain which is 7 am, you will continue the tour in St. Catherine Monastery, the ancient church which was built by Emperor Justinian I for the memory of Saint Catherine. The monastery complex also houses what is said to be a remnant of the original bark of the burning bush.

In return, lunch will be taken at a nice Dahab restaurant, which is located by the beach. Dahab is regarded as one of the beautiful towns located in the south of Sinai, about 100 km from Sharm. You will also have an opportunity to buy Egyptian crafts like beads, tapestries, wares, oils, and plant sheets, among others. Afterward, as part of your experience of the things to do in Sharm El Sheikh, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh, concluding this wonderful trip to St. Catherine's Monastery.
