Tour Itinerary

Embrace the awe-inspiring wonders of an Abu Simbel Day Trip from Aswan in private Air-Conditioned transport rendered by our Osha Tours Representative. The journey by road from Aswan to Abu Simbel takes approximately 3 and a half hours as it winds through beautiful naked nature for a while.

Once there we explore Abu Simbel temples including the famous sun temple of Ramses II and the stunning temple of his wife, Nefertari. Unfortunately, these beautiful temples were mostly lost to history, buried in sand until 1960 when they were saved from the rising waters of Lake Nasser by the Egyptian authority and UNESCO.

Inside Ramses II’s temple is an intricately detailed mural celebrating his son’s victory over the Hittites at the battle of Kadesh. Next to it is the Nefertari Temple which shows just how much Ramses II cared for his wife whom he loved dearly, Queen Nefertari.

Our competent staff shall bring you back to Aswan where you shall be taken back to your hotel for a well deserved rest as you prepare to go through a wonderful day full of adventures.
